About the event

An in-person workshop led by experienced singer-songwriter and performer, Kitty Stewart, to guide you into getting paid gigs in the music industry.

Saturday 6th January // 2-5pm // £35

The White Rabbit, Glastonbury High Street, BA6 9DP

This workshop is ideal for singer-songwriters, band members, or solo artists who are either new to the industry or who already have some experience and would like to fine tune the art of getting gigs.

As well as being an awesome opportunity to meet fellow musicians, we'll cover a wealth of content that will leave you with a solid action plan for touring and performing this summer.

We'll be delving into:

-Uncovering your musical identity -Creating / updating your brand -How to use social media to boost your music -Tips for fast and effective music promotion -Networking tips to get your foot in the door -Creating a standout press kit -Finding the right venues and festivals for your music -How to navigate bookings, negotiate fees & secure gigs -Engaging discussions and Q&A

Whether you're breaking ground or seeking to fine-tune your passion / career, this is sure to be an inspiring afternoon of discussion, an opportunity to meet other musicians, sharing top tips and tricks and building confidence in how to succeed in the industry.

January is THE time to be applying for festivals and organising your summer of performances so this is perfect timing to get the motivation and direction you need for 2024.

If you can't make it in person to Glastonbury for this event, please let me know as I may run the same workshop online if there is enough interest.
