CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE
~ A Passion for Music Education ~

~ Music making is a powerful tool for children’s development — boosting confidence, creativity, communication, and emotional wellbeing ~

I offer fun ukulele and music lessons for children, using games, singing, body percussion and simple songs to teach dynamics, rhythm, melody, and chords in a playful, encouraging way. Lessons are tailored to each child’s pace and are available both online and at my studio in Glastonbury.

I’m fully DBS-checked and have years of experience working with children of all ages and abilities, including SEND and PMLD. I regularly lead early years sessions and have taught in schools, leading whole-class ukulele and interactive music performances.

30 - 60 minute lessons are available for children, and I also offer group sessions for schools, community and home education groups and early years settings.

Lessons from £25 — concessions available for families on a low income.

I'm training with and have supported Live Music Now's Inspire programme in a number of SEND schools, enriching their music provision and working with individuals and groups from primary to secondary ages.
Award winning music education agency, Soundstorm have booked me for a number of projects, including various BCP school's interactive performances and co-leading their "PERFORM" project.
